Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The property was spacious for our group of nine people. Plenty of seating inside and outside of the home. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes/glasses and good quality pots/pans as well as a nice BBQ outside. The pool/whirlpool was great and we liked that we could adjust the temperature as needed. There are plenty of towels, and bath products in the home. The washer/dryer were a great convenience. The property is in a gated community and felt very secure. There is a huge, well stocked grocery store about a 10 minute walk away, although you have to cross a very busy highway. It’s a very short walk to a small beach nearby with a fairly sheltered little bay. The property managers of this home were extremely receptive to any questions and requests that we had. They had great suggestions for transportation, private catering and a fishing excursion. During the busy xmas time, they went above and beyond to find us a crib that we required. We had an issue with the dishwasher not working and they did their best to accommodate the problem. They were wonderful and the owners are lucky to have them.
Negative: The property was a great value, however the home is showing some wear and tear and requires some maintenance. The dishwasher and microwave both did not work after a few days which was troublesome with nine people. Being xmas, getting a repair person was difficult, however those items were being replaced shortly after our stay. The property managers came to home personally to try and fix the issue and help with other solutions. There are some broken tiles in some areas and some of the outdoor furniture is quite worn and unusable and could be replaced. We did spend quite a bit on Ubers and transportation as there are not a lot of restaurants or activities nearby. It is about a 15 minute ride to the marina area of Cabo with lots of restaurants.
Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa de los Suenos. It is a great property for a large group.
