The loft is located on the 2nd floor of a Hanoian old style building area that we call “Nhà Phố Cổ”, which means the traditional style of living in Hanoi. It offers you a great stay with truly Hanoian spirit. Based on “wabisabi” spirit – see beauty in imperfection – the loft might not be perfect in every corner, but it is perfect for those who want to hide away from the bustle life out there, to see life at its best in miniature.
Space
Vietnam once was France's colony for a while. Thus French architecture and interior design has a huge impact on Vietnamese culture. So is my loft. You'll see the fusion between the old and new Hanoi in my apartment. "Street culture" has a huge impact on Hanoi culture. People live and sale everything, a whole lively culture on the street, or a building. *** And our apartment is located inside a a building like that. You walk through the alley , you observe what people do, they sell food such as Trà đá ( Vietnamese iced tea ) , Bún Chả , Phở , Cơm văn phòng ( Office lunch meal ) , then you will find us Stay with us and you will feel Hanoi's culture deeply and truly... *** About our flat : + The house has high ceilings , windows and flooded with natural light . + Lovely kitchen with enough comforts so that you can cook simple dishes : Refrigerator , Infrared Stove + Loft bedroom with King size bed and one couch can turn into a reading room, all rooms headed to the balcony. + The last but not least is our warmly balcony garden

I'm working aboard so often I will not be in Hanoi, I'm a travel addict as well. Neighborhood overview
The neighborhood is right in the heart of the old quarter of the city, next to Hoan Kiem Lake and all attractions in Hanoi. The area is quite at nite. # The loft is located in a French colonial house was build in the vietnam french war. You will easily feel the pace of local life right the time you get here. Our neighbors are truly Hanoian families. There're up to 2-3 generations live under the same roof. They're living witnesses of Vietnam historic moments. The first generation has the same age with the house I guest. Althought old but not cold. Our neighbors are friendly and kind. Just say hello to them, then receive a smile. #The area is one of the most wanted places to live in Hanoi for both Viet and expats. With simply bicycling - 1 min you arrive at Hoan Kiem Lake, old quarter - 7 - 12mins you arrive at West Lake - Local markets are all around. - Mini stores, restaurants, street foods, Cơm bình dân ( vietnamese office lunch), coffee shop scattered around.
Getting around
When you exit the small alley, you'll find everything you look forward to do in the city. Around our loft : Pharmacies - Mini grocery store - Top-up Vietnamese card (" Sim - Thẻ điện thoại " sign ) - Emergency center - Fire station - Very easy to catch a taxi ( Uber or Grab taxi is available in Hanoi ) #Motorbike and bicycle is a great way to explore our neighborhood and around although taxi is available we can help you get one. Airport picked up can be arranged for 25$ (but you can save money by catching a bus from the airport , only 2-4$ depends on what kind of bus you choose)
Other things to note
- Don't be too lousy after 11pm. But it's fine, you can just close the door :)
- Smoking area is in the balcony
- If you love the apartment, don't hesitate to pm me, I'll be more than happy to be your tour guide for a day or two.
- The voltage in Vietnam is 220V in every socket. So if you need to use 110V equipments, let me know and I will give you a mini adapter changing from 220V to 110V + Could you please keep the apartment green by helping us to water the plants in the morning ( before 11am) or afternoon (after 4pm) .The plant will be so happy and we truly appreciate that.
