Travel Purpose: business

Positive: We loved the location being in a real part of South Korean suburbia with a street market, supermarket, coffee shop, eateries etc only metres away and a short walk to bus stops and taxis. The host provided clear instructions on finding the property and how to access. The apartment was spotless and it was really convenient having a full bathroom both downstairs and upstairs. It was also tastefully decorated with lots of soft lighting options all throughout. The floor space was extremely generous compared to other accommodation we had used during our trip (If you struggle with stairs this accommodation is not for you. Access to the apartment is via a lift however both bedrooms are upstairs). Not speaking Korean made it difficult to use TV's and AC remotes, Washing Machine, hot water temperature setting and floor heating etc however the host was quick to respond with clear instructions that were easy to follow. The free Wi-Fi is fast and there are external areas for quick drying of clothes if needed (if it isn't raining).

Negative: More suggestions than something we didn't like as everything was able to be worked around easily. It would be convenient to have an information booklet with clear and concise instructions on how to use items in the apartment such as TV and AC remotes, hot water, heating system, rubbish disposal etc. As mentioned before the host was super responsive and provided clear and concise instructions for all those items - we would have found it helpful to have all that information available to browse when we arrived. Everywhere we stayed in Korea the accommodation just didn't have many places to hang clothes. The host has provided a small hanging rack between the bedrooms however there was only a limited number of timber clothes hangers (our personal preference would be to have triple or more what was there). It also would have been convenient to have a few more places to hang up clothes. We were unable to find an iron or ironing board in the apartment (may have just missed it) which would have been convenient. Note: As advertised it is a 2 bedroom apartment (double beds in both rooms with one bed on the firm side and the other more plush). The listing indicates a 3rd bedroom which we assume is the 2 lounge chairs below that can be pushed together however would suggest you check this with host if you need that extra room (this would really cramp up the apartment as there are not a lot of empty spaces to put bags, suitcases etc). It would have been convenient have a storage cupboard available to put suitcases when not in use (we stayed for several nights so really wanted to settle into the apartment) We took a risk on not staying at the regular commercial type accommodations and we couldn't have been happier. Thanks for a great stay.
