The beaches are beautiful.. the white-sand beach of Playa Blanca has coral reefs. The black-sand beach of Cahuita’s Playa Negra, is north of the village and it is within walking distance. Experience fishing, canoeing, boating, diving, and many other water sporting activities. Listen to the Congos while they travel throughout the area. Further north, is the Sloth Sanctuary caring for injured and orphaned sloths. Cahuita’s center is also a 10 minute walk. The bus station, Mepe, is a 10 minute walk to the house. You can travel to nearby towns lsuch as Puero Viejo and more.
