My homestay called Mettaloka is my parent's villa. My mother is a novelist and also spiritualist. We wake up 5 a.m every morning, doing meditation, typing fresh idea for a new novel, and then planting and gardening. Cleaning some weeds and sniffing the fresh soil, go to the traditional market and meet a decrepit monger are a few relaxing things.
Our homestay is around 2 km from Borobudur Temple, traditional market, and bus station. You can also visit upon tourist village, sunrise look-out, and many kind of artisans such as bamboo, tofu, wood mask, batik, and traditional dancer. We have unique architecture and nice garden too. Sunbathing while looking up Menoreh Hill are such wonderful experience.
You can stay here without afraid spending a lot of money. The longer you stay, cheaper you pay. Actually, we have 11 bedrooms with private bathroom including wifi free access and breakfast. You can choose it appropriately with your budget. If you feel lazy to go out side, you can cook with us or just taste our local food. Yummy!
This cabin is on the 2nd floor with direct view to the Menoreh Hill. You can enjoy the panorama while lay down or sitting in the balcony. Private balcony with shower and amenities also provided. Wifi available.
