Positive: At first, I was a little disappointed. The guest house seemed far from the market and ATM, it was close to the main road, and not very close to the beach. I also got a ground floor room, so no view. However, after a week of wandering around, I realized this place is probably the best option. Yes, the market is about 1.5 km away along a busy main road, but central Arambol is really not a good place to stay. Being away from that area turned out to be perfect. The main road was relatively quiet at night, so I had peaceful nights - quite quiet by Indian standards. The ground floor room actually became an advantage, as I could step outside and enjoy the pleasant front yard space. The walk to the beach was comfortable, and I was glad not to be right next to the big tourist hippie complexes with loud music and constant encounters with esoteric crowds. If you want a peaceful, quiet stay with your own private space, Shivkrupa Guest House is an excellent choice. Also very suitable for families. Everything you need for shopping, food, or dining out is nearby. The apartment can be cleaned daily if you wish. The hosts are pleasant and polite, always happy to help. If I visit again, I will probably not look for other accommodation. Thank you, Jon, for a lovely stay!
